Following the new guidelines set out by the government last night and the notification that garage services can remain open at this time, we would like to make our customers aware of the company’s plans.
We have closed our car sales department down for an initial three week period.
We are planning to keep the car workshop open; however, as we have sent home all non-essential workers, this means we will have a reduced workforce and will only be open for essential repairs and MOT’s.
We will continue to help and support NHS and other key workers during this difficult time and will prioritise any maintenance work they need.
The workshop will be for staff only and reception areas will be limited to one customer at the counter at any one time (keeping to the recommend social distancing guidelines).
The customer waiting area will also be closed until further notice.
Due to the reduced workforce, unfortunately we shall not be valeting cars following their repair. Whilst we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction, we hope you can appreciate why this service is not going to be available at this time.
We will continue to do our best to source spare parts for vehicle repairs, but with many suppliers now reducing deliveries or closing entirely, this may cause a delay to your vehicles repair being finished on time.
All vehicles upon completion will continue to have contact surfaces wiped down and technicians will continue to wear protective gloves etc to minimise contact surfaces too.
As this situation is continuously changing, we shall be evaluating our plans on a day to day basis based on the government guidelines.
